The First Principle is Love

Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of Nvidia, recently spoke for an hour about the future of AI. In his remarks, he kept coming back to “first principles.” Elon Musk also speaks frequently of “first principles.” Their detailed understanding of this idea has helped both men achieve great success in the material world.
Our world, however, is not limited to the material plane. It is also spiritual and it is our task to respiritualize the world, today. We can do this by remembering that in the realm of the spiritual the “first principle” is love.
The Jesuit theologian and scientist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin went as far to say that “the physical structure of the Universe is love.” I agree and can comprehend how the primordial spark that initiated the creation of the Universe–i.e the “Big Bang”--was, in fact, love.
In time, the quantum physicists will learn from the mystics and come to understand that the formless and invisible energy upon which the universe was created–and eternally rests in–is love.
As it says in 1 John 4: 8: God is Love.
